It all began long before we even knew it—back in 2007 at Awanas at Colonial Baptist Church, where 5-year-old Landon and 3-year-old Emma crossed paths for the very first time. We didn’t know it then, but even in that small moment, God was already gently weaving our story together.

Fast forward fifteen years to July 31st, 2022, when Emma sent Landon a simple birthday message. A few days later, we met in person as Landon gave Emma a tour of NC State’s campus. He was a rising junior, and she was just about to begin her freshman year.

Our first “date” came on Emma’s birthday, August 26th, at a CRU shag night. After that they spent every day getting to know more about each other. On September 28th, 2022, by the waters of Falls Lake, Landon asked Emma to be his girlfriend—and joyfully she said yes.

Nearly three years of hikes, football games, snowboarding trips, and countless fun memories followed! On April 30th, 2025, at the very place where we’ll say “I do,” Landon got down on one knee—and Emma said yes again, this time to forever.

Through every step, we’ve seen the beauty of God’s hand in our story—how He brought us together in His time, for His purpose, for His glory. Now, as we prepare to become husband and wife, we’re overwhelmed with gratitude for the Lord and His grace in our lives. We can’t wait to celebrate all He has done for us with you!
